UIkit is Coming to Drupal

On April 4, 2016 I was awarded an ownership transfer of the uikit namespace on drupal.org. The previous maintainers could no longer give the time needed for development of the project, which is why the transfer took place. I have been working hard on development for the last few months, so it is pretty much a working theme now! There's one caveat though. I have not been given the permission to promote sandbox projects to full projects yet, something that I am now working on. But you can get the development branch through git:

git clone --branch 7.x-2.x https://git.drupal.org/project/uikit.git

We're starting off with a 7.x-2.x branch because UIkit is currently at version 2.x.x and I want to keep the same SemVer Yootheme utilizes. Once UIkit is at version 3.x.x, I will work on updating the UIkit for Drupal theme to 7.x-3.x. Hopefully the application for promoting projects goes smoothly for me, that way I can get a release candidate released. Stay tuned for more information on this project, as I will post updates here on my blog.
